It is one of the three pieces in the collection to use chikankari embroidery featuring a fine hand-needlework technique that gives the shirt a texture and delicacy no standard machine embroidery can replicate. The chikan embroidered lawn front is constructed with separately worked chikan left and right panels, while the dyed lawn back and sleeves offer a clean tonal contrast. Organza embroidery at the front daman border, sleeves border, and trouser border creates a cohesive embroidered edge from shirt hem to ankle, with a finishing lace in organza refining the hemline. Crochet lace at the neckline, sleeves (two placements), and trouser adds generously layered handcraft detail.
