Authenticity

Last updated 9 October 2026

The short answer: we sell original Pakistani designer pieces only. We do not make replicas or copy designs. Every outfit comes from the designer's own collection, bought from the designer's official outlets or from stockists the designer works with.

Where our pieces come from

We carry Pakistani designer brands. Each piece is bought from one of two places:

  • The designer's official outlets, including their flagship stores and official online channels.
  • Stockists the designer recognises, where buying direct isn't possible.

Unstitched and stitched outfits

Type What you receive
Unstitched The designer's original fabric, exactly as released.
Stitched The designer's original fabric, tailored either by the designer or by our own stitching team to your size or measurements.

This is why labels differ from order to order. Outfits tailored by the designer usually carry the designer's label. Outfits tailored by our team may carry a Libayah label instead of, or next to, the designer's. The fabric and the design are the same either way.

How to verify your order

Every product page lists the design name and, where the designer uses one, the design code. You can search for these on the designer's website, catalogue or social media and compare.

If you'd like more proof, message us before your order is dispatched and we can:

  • Ship it in the designer's original packaging instead of ours.
  • Include the designer's inlay card.
  • Share the purchase receipt, where one is available. Pieces bought through stockists don't always come with one.

Our checks before dispatch

No order leaves us without a quality check. We look at:

  • Embroidery and embellishment: complete, secure and undamaged.
  • Print and fabric: no flaws, stains or colour faults.
  • Stitching and fit: seams, finishing and measurements against the size you ordered.
  • Labels and codes: the designer's label and design code, where the designer provides them.

How to spot a copy anywhere

Replicas of popular Pakistani designer outfits are widely sold online. Use these checks with any seller, including us:

  • Check the price. If a "designer" suit costs far less than on the designer's own site, it is almost certainly a copy.
  • Ask for the design name and code, then find that exact design on the designer's official channels.
  • Look closely at the work. Originals usually have dense, even embroidery. Copies tend to use lighter fabric, patchy thread work, or printing where the original is embroidered.
  • Inspect labels and packaging. Spelling mistakes on labels or plain unbranded wrapping are warning signs. A stitched outfit may still carry a retailer's or tailor's label, so this alone doesn't mean it's fake.
  • Check the seller. A real business has a registered company, a contact address, working support channels and genuine reviews.

Common questions

Is everything you sell original?

Yes. We don't produce or copy designs. Every piece is from the designer's own collection.

Why is there a Libayah label on my outfit?

When our team stitches or finishes an outfit, our label may replace or sit beside the designer's. The fabric and design still come from the designer.

Can my order come in the designer's packaging?

Yes, if you ask before dispatch. We can also add the designer's inlay card. Otherwise it ships in Libayah packaging.

Can I see proof of purchase for my piece?

Ask us and we'll share the receipt where we have one. Some pieces come through stockists, so a receipt isn't always available.
